Embroidery

History of Embroidery

Embroidery is defined as the art of working raised and ornamental designs in threads of silk, cotton, gold, silver, or other material, upon any woven fabric, leather, paper, etc., with a needle. embroidered work or ornamentation. Long ago this was done by hand, in fact the origin of embroidery can be dated back to Cro-Magnon days or 30,000 BC. During a recent archaeological find, fossilized remains of heavily hand-stitched and decorated clothing, boots and a hat were found.

Today we continue to enjoy embroidery designs on our uniforms, caps and other apparel, as a way to create a business identity. So, to keep up with the demand, we use advanced computerized embroidery machines to create your custom designs. Furthermore, we can even use the computer to digitize most any design, monogram or logo using advanced embroidery design software. This allows our customers to put most anything they can imagine on the breast pocket of their shirt or cap.
